One of the most urgent necessities that we have detected in the rural community of Los Villarreales is the lack of a drainage system.
The lack of such resources forces the people to use the dirt or a hole as a bathroom. This system can cause infectious and contagious diseases. In rural communities this system is commonly used by all 5 or 6 people in a family, including children and the elderly.
In the majority of cases the construction of a bathroom facility with a drainage system, including sinks and showers, is urgent. This would directly increase the quality of life for the people of this area, and prevent infectious diseases.
We have identified around 20 families that are in need of this support.
We trust that God will send people that can help by sharing their resources and strength so that these families can improve their quality of life. |
